The Perpetual Vows of Brothers Erick (Mexican) and Jean (French)

OCT 11, 2021

The Church has always rejoiced when her beloved children consecrate themselves entirely to God, giving not one or two months of their lives, but surrendering themselves completely to the service of the most needy. This is what will happen to our dear Brothers Erick Domínguez and Jean Théry, who after eight long years of preparation with the Missionary Servants of the Poor, have been accepted to make their perpetual vows.

In this ceremony which will take place on October 12, the brothers will vow to live in poverty, chastity, and obedience for all their lives. It is beautiful that within the Movement of the Missionary Servants of the Poor we add two other vows:  to deeply love the Eucharist and to live in a spirit of continual conversion.

We humbly ask you to pray for them and “ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest” (Mt 9:38).
