DEC 31, 2025
The month of December is a very special time for all Christians as it is also for our community. It is a month that invites us to prepare our hearts to welcome our Lord, reminding us that Christmas is not just a date, but an opportunity to renew our faith, hope, and love.
At the beginning of December, our community begins preparing the Nativity scene, a simple yet meaningful symbol that reminds us of the humility with which Jesus came into the world. Alongside this, we celebrate the Posadas, a time of prayer and fellowship that strengthens the unity of the community and helps us relive the journey of Mary and Joseph.
On Christmas Day, the central celebration is Holy Mass where we thank God for the gift of his Son and renew our commitment to live as true Christians. There is also community sharing, filled with joy and closeness, as well as the giving of gifts to our children, reminding us that the greatest gift is Jesus, who is born in our hearts.
In this way, our community experiences the month of December as a time of preparation, encounter, and faith, remembering that Christmas takes on its true meaning when we learn to love, share, and welcome others with simplicity.
