The Joy of a Vocation Continually Growing

JUL 14, 2026

On June 30, the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, our community experienced a moment of profound joy and gratitude with the celebration of the Holy Mass marking the completion of the novitiate year of three of our brothers: Bro. Jhon, MSP, from Colombia; Bro. Luis, MSP, from Peru; and Bro. Thomas, MSP, from France.

Throughout this year of formation, our brothers journeyed through a period of human, spiritual, and community growth, deepening their knowledge of Christ and embracing the charism of the Missionary Servants of the Poor. The novitiate is a fundamental stage of discernment and preparation, during which each brother strengthens his response to God's call through prayer, fraternal life, study, and service.

The Eucharistic celebration was an opportunity to give thanks to the Lord for the many graces received throughout this time and for His faithful call, which continues to inspire young men from different nations to dedicate their lives to the service of those most in need. The celebration was attended by the priests and brothers of our community, together with the Missionary Families, who joined in thanksgiving for this important stage of formation.

We entrust Bro. Jhon, Bro. Luis, and Bro. Thomas to the intercession of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, praying that the Lord may strengthen them and continue to guide them by His grace on the path of religious consecration. May they, with generous and willing hearts, continue to respond faithfully to the mission of proclaiming the Gospel and serving the poorest of the poor.
