Eucharistic Adoration in Ilo-Moquegua, Peru

Every Thursday we hold Eucharistic Adoration at the Lord of Miracles chapel. At first, we thought 6:00 p.m. might not be a good time but we have been surprised to see how people make every effort to attend and spend some time in prayer before the Lord. This is very encouraging, as the people have learned the Latin hymns well and pray with great fervor.

Many attendees come straight from work—such as some taxi drivers who carve out time in their schedules to encounter the Lord and recharge before continuing their work. A mother pauses her daily activities to bring her children to pray before returning home. May the Lord bless them and continue to strengthen their faith.
