Closing ceremony of the academic year at the Saints Francisco and Jacinta Marto School

DEC 29, 2025

In the fourth week of December, just a few days before Christmas, our Saints Francisco and Jacinta Marto School held the closing ceremony of its academic year with faith, joy, and gratitude.

The day began with Holy Mass where we thanked God for everything we had experienced during the year and entrusted our students, teachers, and families into His hands. It was a time to remember that every effort, however small it may seem, has value when offered with love.

Then, the students participated with dances and songs, sharing their joy and talent. Awards were also presented to the students, recognizing not only their good grades, but also their good conduct and values, reminding us that education is about shaping the heart, not just the mind.

One of the most moving moments was the farewell to our high school seniors. As a community, we ask for your prayers for them, so that, grounded in God, they may face with strength the challenges that will arise in this new stage of their lives, always trusting that the Lord guides their paths. Finally, the day ended with the distribution of clothing and panettone to the parents, thanks to the support of many benefactors who make this work of God possible. This simple gesture reminded us that faith is lived through sharing and that Christmas takes on meaning when we think of others.

In this way, the Saints Francisco and Jacinta Marto School closed its academic year with grateful hearts, preparing for the birth of Jesus and renewing its commitment to continue walking together as a community.
