Installation of Sister Sara Huillcahua as Superior General of the MSP Sisters

APR 17, 2026

Saturday, April 11, marked a very special day at the Sisters' house. In an atmosphere of faith and simplicity, Sister Sara Huillcahua was appointed as the new Superior General of the MSP Sisters. The celebration was presided over by Father Walter Corsini, Superior General of the MSP, and was attended by missionary families and several priests, who joyfully shared in this significant moment for the community.

At 39 years of age, Sister Sara has traveled a path of self-giving that began in 2002, when she entered as an aspirant. Since then, she has served in various communities, assisting in formation and dedicating herself especially to the most needy—particularly in the fields of healthcare and mission work.

This new ministry also serves as an invitation to accompany and encourage her sisters through the power of her own example. In religious life, authority is lived out as service, in accordance with the call of the Gospel. With hope, the community embarks upon this new chapter, supporting her through prayer and trusting that it will be a time of unity, dedication, and renewal for the mission they share. We therefore ask that you pray for Sister Sara, that the Lord may accompany and strengthen her in this new responsibility.
